Pharmacogenomics (PGx)

Pharmacogenomics (PGx) is the study of how a person's genes affect their response to drugs. It combines study of genes and drugs. By analyzing a patient's unique genetic makeup, PGx helps predict whether a medication will be effective, what the optimal dosage should be, and if there's a risk of adverse reactions.

This revolutionary field moves healthcare beyond a one-size-fits-all approach, enabling doctors to prescribe the right drug, at the right dose, for the right patient, minimizing trial-and-error and improving patient safety and outcomes.
